SplitMaster.com is a research service formed by four successful business executives who are members of an investment club from Southern California called the Gainsborough Stock Club. On average each member has over twenty-five years of investment experience. Mike & Tony Celeste and Tony & Patricia Ponzo formed a joint venture in early 1997 for the purpose of testing and expanding on a winning stock strategy that the Celeste’s had developed over the years. Software was developed to analyze years of stock split data. The purpose of the analysis was twofold:

The analysis showed overwhelmingly that stock splits do indeed increase in price during specific times. From their analysis, a stock split system was created that is unlike any other system on the market. It’s called the SplitMaster Basic Strategy or the Basic Strategy for short. After two years of successful testing through personal investments, this web site was developed and the strategy was introduced to the world. The publishers are constantly brain storming and thinking of new strategies and in 1999, a second strategy called the Big Dipper was introduced. This strategy is based on the Basic Strategy only with stocks that temporarily take an unusually big dip in price. This strategy has been extremely successful.

In 2004, a new strategy was added called the Option Strategy. This is a strategy based on investing in options that are played against the Basic Strategy and the Big Dipper Strategy. There are several different ways to play options against these strategies which gives members more action. The Publishers have been making these option plays over the years and realized that many of the members would be interested in these plays as well. So the decision was made to create this new section. Options are a wonderful way to leverage your investments but options should only be used by those who are experienced option traders. However, this site can help members learn about options and can direct members to other educational sources.
